We are finally wrapping up the Alberta Craftsman house that we've been working on for over a year and a half! We transformed the kitchen by knocking down a wall to extend the space and introduced another window to flood the kitchen with light. We created a peninsula with storage and bar seating. We removed the upper kitchen cabinets, which were replaced with floating walnut shelves beneath a fully tiled wall. The dark countertops were updated with a marble patterned quartz. To add storage, we designed a hutch that adds character to the space.

We've been working on a luxurious master bedroom design for a beautiful lakefront property in Portland. We were struck by a bold moroccan-inspired fabric and used it as the foundation for the design. We designed an elegant headboard with a diamond tuft and upholstered it in a sparkling gold-washed linen. We selected a rich teal velvet for an occasional chair and ottoman to compliment the pillows and a small-patterned moroccan print for the Euro shams. We also used the pattern of the teal fabric and created an upholstered cornice that reflects the shapes in the pillows, right down to the bronze circles, which we brought in through a nailhead detail. We paired the cornice with a luxurious silk drape.

A few updates of the White Salmon Cottage. When living in a tiny house, every space counts! We maximized space in the bedroom by filling an empty nook with a built-in dresser. The walnut bed was a collaboration with Black Rabbit which features concealed drawers for extra storage. We had a lot of fun picking out funky sconces to mix in an eclectic vibe. We selected two beautiful Hans Wegner chairs for the living room and office nook.
